Ahmed Ololade professionally known as Asake recently uploaded photos of a brand new 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV he walked home with after winning the highly coveted Next Rated category at the 2023 headies award on September 4, 2023. The popular Nigerian singer and songwriter who is signed to YBNL recently won the 2023 Headies Next rated award and also the Album of the Year category with “Mr. Money With The Vibez”. Things to know about Asake’s 2023 Mercedes-AMG G-Wagon (G63)
All Mercedes-Benz G-Class are classified as G-Wagon by many, some don’t know that the luxury SUV comes in different grades. They are classified into two, the high-performance AMG variant (G63) and the normal Mercedes-Benz grades.
Asake’s 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 falls under the high-performance grade. Standard on the G63 is a handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine which produces 577 hp at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 627 lb-ft at 2,500 – 3,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission which delivers the output from the engine to the permanent all-wheel-drive system with two transfer cases. It attains 60 mph from 0 in just 4.5 seconds, its towing capacity is rated at 7000 lbs.

Over the years, the exterior of these model haven’t been redesigned, it still retains its strong boxy body over the years. That’s why someone can upgrade a 2000 G-Wagon to a 2023 model without stress. The luxury SUV rides on 20-inch AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels which are fitted on 275/50R20, summer high-performance tires.
At first glance at its boxy exterior, that feeling of a poor interior will envelope you but your guess is wrong this time around. The AMG G63 features one of the most luxurious interiors when it comes to space, comfort, technology, luxury, and premium equipment. The interior is finished with a range of luxury materials which include Nappa leather upholstery in different designs, G manufaktur leather, etc. Standard interior features include Nappa leather upholstery, power front seats with memory, heated rear seats, 3-zone climate control, cabin air purification system, Mercedes-me connect support, 64-color LED ambient lighting, electrically heated windshield, heated power side mirrors with power fold-in, privacy glass, heat- and noise insulating glass, three power outlets, etc.

The price of Asake’s 2023 Mercedes-AMG G-Wagon (G63) in Nigeria is over 250,000,000 Naira. it’s worthy to note that the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of the 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 is pegged at $179,000, which amounts to 160,000,000 Naira. When the shipping and clearing cost is added to it, it will amount to over 250,000,000 Naira.

It’s worth noting that the $179,000 is for the standard grade, any additional package on the SUV is paid for separately, and most times, Mercedes dealerships sell above that.
