Gunmen Shot Unizik Lecturer to death in Awka, Anambra state.

Dr Anthony Eze Dead : UNIZIK Lecturer, Professor Anthony Eze Assassinated At Ifite Awka Anambra StateOn Tuesday, some unknown attackers murdered Professor Anthony Eze of Nnamdi Azikiwe University at his home in Ifite Awka area of Anambra State.Eze was a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the institution. The motive behind the attack is currently unknown, but it was reported that the victim was taking his children to school when the assailants entered his residence and opened fire. Despite attempting to escape, Eze was shot multiple times in the chest. The attackers fled in a Toyota Corolla sedan and are still at large, causing residents in the area to seek safety.According to the source who spoke to our reporters, they were present at the scene when Dr. Eze was shot. He was leaving his home in a car when a Toyota Corolla sedan pulled up and when he tried to drive back, the attackers followed him and shot him in the chest.The witnesses ran away and later took the deceased to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital in Awka, where the doctor on duty confirmed that he had passed away.
